Here are a few questions we did not have enough room in the application to answer appropriately.

If awarded a $200K grant, we will deploy funds across two phases:
A. Deliver a successful launch of The Ultimate Latin Music & Comedy Getaway in November 2025,
B. Reserve capital for pre-production and early deposits for The Ultimate Grown Folks Getaway  April/May of 2026.

If granted a $200K prize - budget breakdown

Phase 1: November 2025 Launch – $150,000

  1. $20,000 – Hotel block deposit

  2. $60,000 – Talent & concert tickets (bilingual comedians, DJs, Bad Bunny VIP access)

  3. $20,000 – Paid ads and influencer campaigns

  4. $10,000 – CRM and booking system integration

  5. $3,000 – Event insurance and legal fees

  6. $5,000 – Brand visuals and content production

  7. $32,000 – Event production and staffing

Phase 2: April 2026 Reserve – $50,000

  1. $30,000 – Hotel and talent deposits

  2. $20,000 – Pre-launch campaign for repeat attendees and early bird sales

The Impact: This ensures full execution of our first event with scale and quality, while laying the foundation for a profitable second event. It validates product-market fit, strengthens brand credibility, and builds momentum toward a multi-event, multi-million-dollar business model.

If granted a $100K prize -budget breakdown (Focus on November launch only)
With a $100K grant, we will focus on launching a lean but powerful version of our November 2025 event, aimed at validating demand and building case studies.

  1. $20,000 – Hotel block deposit

  2. $40,000 – Mid-tier talent and general concert ticket access

  3. $15,000 – Paid advertising and influencer outreach

  4. $5,000 – CRM system, marketing automation and Booking system integration

  5. $2,000 – Insurance and legal

  6. $3,000 – Branding and content creation

  7. $15,000 – Lean event production staff (essential staffing, AV, decor)

 

The Impact: This approach enables a successful launch event while maintaining strong marketing and operational systems. It will provide meaningful proof of concept, satisfied customers, and digital assets to attract future sponsors, attendees, or investors.

If granted a $75K prize - budget breakdown (Lean launch focused on proof of concept)
With $75K, we will deliver a minimum viable version of the event, focusing on core offerings that meet the emotional and cultural needs of our audience.

  1. $20,000 – Hotel block deposit

  2. $30,000 – Scaled-down entertainment (local or regional comedians/DJs) and general concert admission

  3. $10,000 – Targeted ads and influencer outreach

  4. $3,000 – Basic CRM/booking tools

  5. $2,000 – Insurance/legal

  6. $10,000 – Minimum viable event production (lean staffing, simplified AV, branded check-in)

The Impact: This lean model still delivers a memorable experience, builds brand loyalty, and provides feedback to refine future events. It prioritizes core value (community, culture, connection) while reducing execution risk.

If granted a $60K prize - budget breakdown (Scrappy proof-of-concept execution)

At $60K, we will execute a grassroots version of the November event focused on proof of concept and audience engagement.

  1. $20,000 – Hotel block deposit

  2. $25,000 – Limited talent and entertainment

  3. $7,000 – Low-budget digital ads and social campaigns

  4. $2,000 – Booking tools and basic automation

  5. $2,000 – Legal, insurance, and contracts

  6. $4,000 – Barebones event support (logistics and hospitality)

The Impact: Though scaled down, this plan ensures delivery of a culturally authentic and emotionally resonant event, enabling us to build momentum, collect testimonials, and secure future event partners and revenue streams.

Each funding level prioritizes cultural authenticity, conversion-focused marketing, and meaningful community-building. Larger grants allow for full-scale event delivery and strategic momentum for 2026.
